Acquired dyslexia

Acquired dyslexia is a disorder experienced by people who have lost some aspect of their reading ability as a result of brain damage.

It is an umbrella term for many specific forms of dyslexia which can be caused by brain damage, stroke, dementia and multiple sclerosis. Some of these specific forms are listed below:
